Trophy Stall go under to Superstars XI

The Digital Technology/Chow Pow 10/10 Challenge Series filled with upsets, fan giveaways and entertainment continued at the Wales Community Center Ground last weekend with Superstars XI defeated Trophy Stall in the first encounter of the day.

Batting first, Trophy Stall made 135–5 with Wasim Haslim’s 48 the top score.

Bowling for Superstars XI, Rohit Dutchin grabbed 2-13 and returned later with the bat to clobber five sixes in 47 as Superstars XI ended on 140-6.
Fazal Rafiek picked up 2-20.

In the clash between rivals Recharge and Rockaway, Recharge thumped Rockaway by 56 runs.

Batting first, Recharge made 110 off their 10 overs Kamal Singh top scored with 39. Richard Gomes bagged 3–11 for Rockaway who slumped to 63 all out in reply with Rushie Samaroo 24 the only player to get into double figures.
The highly anticipated clash between Westside champs Speedboat and Invaders saw Speedboat defeating Invaders by five wickets.

Safraz Esau smashed a record 12 sixes in his innings of 94, the highest individual score of the tournament so far to see his team home after
Invaders had managed 130-9 with Ganesh Narine top scoring with 40.
Speedboat’s G. Singh grabbed 3-13.

In other matches: Wolf’s Warriors defeated Farm XI. Wolf Warriors 178-3 (Azad Azeez 76, Mohamed Karim 75) D. Persaud 2-15, Farm XI (102-4). Young Guns gained a walk over from Omesh XI. Regal XI beat Digital Technology with four overs to spare.
