Leading by a 40-4 scoreline at the halftime interval, the ensuing rout orchestrated by the dominant Welch was capably supported by team mates Travin Dryden and Afernee Deally who registered twenty-two and ten points respectively. In the other slated match-up of the day, Linden Technical Institute (LTI) powered by Keison Butters’ sixteen-point effort edged New Silvercity Secondary 29-25 in a low scoring encounter. The tournament was programmed to continue yesterday afternoon with two more match-ups at the aforementioned venue.
