Slingerz FC defeated Uitvlugt FC 2-0 when action in the West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) Stag Beer Senior League continued at the Den Amstel Community ground on Wednesday.
Devon Millington opened the scoring for the Vergenoegen side with a sixth-minute effort. Captain Dwain Jacobs would seal all three points with a 41st minute conversion.
In the opening game, home side Den Amstel FC defeated Stewartville FC by a 3-0 score line compliments of a Delon Lanferman hat trick on either side of halftime in the third, 53rd and 59th minutes.
