Phone service down for weeks

Dear Editor,

I would like to express frustration at the unconcerned attitude of GT&T for not fixing the telephone services of dozens of residents in the East Canje area, particularly  Cumberland Village. My service has been down for the past weeks and nobody seems to care anything. Making a complaint to the 0488 hotline is a waste of time, since getting through to that service is virtually impossible as well.

Last week, a large crowd turned up at GT&T’s New Amsterdam commercial office to vent their frustration with their telephone services. How can GT&T treat its customers this way? Why can’t our lines be fixed once and for all? I hope somebody is listening.
