A post-mortem examination conducted on the body of Leon McCurdy, the 15-year-old killed during a robbery at Dazzell Housing Scheme on Wednesday, revealed that he was shot seven times.
This was confirmed by Crime Chief Seelall Persaud yesterday.
McCurdy was one of three youths who robbed Eon Evans after invading his shop in Dazzell Housing Scheme, Paradise, East Coast Demerara.
The boy’s accomplices managed to escape after they were handed a quantity of cash and jewellery but they left him behind and he was eventually shot by Evans, who is a licensed gun owner.
