Two persons were arrested earlier today during a Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) bust in the Grove/Diamond, East Bank Demerara area.
CANU said officers discovered 1,227 kgs or 1.2 tons of Jamaican marijuana at one house and 4.2 kilogrammes of cocaine at another house along with over $1 million.
One person was arrested from each house.
