Three injured in Essequibo road accident

Three persons were on Saturday last injured in an accident after the driver of the car they were travelling in, lost control of the vehicle.

According to information received, hire car HB 6131 driven by 69-year-old Ramnarine Mohabeer of Sparta, Essequibo Coast was proceeding south on the eastern carriageway of the Supenaam Public Road, when he lost control of the vehicle and it ended up in a trench.

This publication was told that there were five passengers in the car at the time: 32-year-old Sherif Valenzuela, 44-year-old Garner Pearson, 37-year-old Sherry Pearson, 9-year-old Sara Pearson and 5-year-old Daniel Craft, all of Barama Mouth, North West District.

They were all taken to the Suddie Public Hospital and three of them were admitted; Sara Pearson with a broken right leg; Daniel Craft, a broken right arm and Mohabeer who sustained injuries to his right arm. The others were treated and sent away.
