At about 1905h last night, police say that Calvin Dover, 25 years, of 14 Bent Street, Wortmanville, Georgetown, was found with a 9MM pistol and eleven rounds of 9MM ammunition.
Investigations, police say, revealed that Dover attempted to rob a man at Demico in the vicinity of Stabroek Market. He was however, overpowered and disarmed by the man. The police were summoned and Dover was arrested. He is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
