A Rosignol, West Coast Berbice man was found floating in a canal close to his ranch sometime around 10:30 hrs yesterday at Abary.
Vickram “Boy” Ramnarine, 29, of Lot 56 Bennett Dam, Rosignol was found with his face down floating in the canal by workers who showed up to begin renovation of his ranch home. The workers reportedly alerted Ramnarine’s family and summoned the police. He was later pulled out of the water, where it was observed that his face was swollen. Ramnarine was rushed to the Fort Wellington hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
