At about 0015h. today, police say that Isaiah Khan, 12 years, of La Union, WCD, was struck down by a motor car on the public road at La Union. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the West Demerara Regional Hospital.
Police say that the driver of the motor vehicle was tested and found to be above the legal limit in terms of the consumption of alcohol. He is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
