GRA readies to launch TT series

The Guyana Revenue Authority (GRA) will shortly commence use of the TT series to licence vehicles, as the PSS series which began in November 2013 is almost at an end.

According to a press release from the GRA, the new TT registration series will be applied to privately registered vehicles such as cars, buses, vans and lorries. It noted that the series elapses after 9,999 vehicles would have been registered by the Licence Revenue Office (LRO).

The GRA reminded the public that motor vehicle licences must be renewed every year on or before the anniversary of the vehicle’s registration. The release reminded too that vehicles being registered for the first time, or which have changed ownership, colour or change of intended user must be physically examined by the LRO. Registrations and changes therefore must be done at the GRA, Camp Street, while physical examinations will be done at Smyth Street or regional offices, the release said.
