The body of an unidentified, elderly man was found along Homestretch Avenue yesterday morning.
His body was discovered sometime between 7am and 8am by a passer-by, who summoned the police. The body was subsequently taken to the Lyken Funeral Home.
Commander of ‘A’ Division Clifton Hicken said yesterday afternoon that the man is yet to be identified.
According to one security guard in the area, the man would usually be seen traversing the area from time to time. However, his name and place of residence were unknown.
Meanwhile, up to yesterday afternoon no one had showed up at the funeral home to claim the body.
