A passenger booked to travel to Kaikan, in the Cuyuni-Mazaruni region, was yesterday nabbed with a quantity of marijuana concealed in a mattress.
Police said the bust was made at around 9:35am by ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch at the Ogle Airport, where they conducted a search on the baggage of the traveler.
Some 794 grammes of marijuana were found concealed in the mattress. The man was taken into custody.
