The students of the Carnegie School of Economics yesterday hosted a presentation of food and garments which reflected Caribbean countries they would have chosen in their Commercial Food Preparation Programme. The event which was held at the school’s location on High Street, afforded the girls the opportunity to showcase their skills to those who attended. In addition to researching the countries and preparing research papers, the students also knitted aprons and caps to represent the chosen country and also prepared popular foods.
