Santos FC and the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) played to a 1-1 stalemate when the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) U17 league continued yesterday at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC) ground, Bourda.

In the second matchup, Western BK Western Tigers edged Black Water FC by a 1-0 score line in the Ruimveldt derby. Dakquan Matthews separated the two sides in the 85th minute with a strike to the bottom of the net from inside the penalty area.

Josiah Charles would then double the lead in the 53rd minute with an easy finish to the empty net from within the centre of the penalty area.

It would become 3-0 in the 57th minute as Houston Stars conceded an accidental own goal following a mistimed clearance into the back of the net from the right side of the box.

Beacons would increase their advantage as Brandt netted his double in the 58th minute, lobbing his right footed effort from the centre of the area, into the right hand side of the net.

Tyriq Saunders would add his name to the scorer’s sheet in the 60th minute heading home his effort into the back of the het following a resulting goal mouth scramble from a right side cross.
