The FIFA appointed chairman during an invited comment said: “At our Saturday’s press conference we made the point that funding for the Secretariat’s staff salaries will come from FIFA FAP and all other income sources.”

Asked about the financial packages assigned to the national senior team’s technical staff and the training squad, he said: “We would prefer to keep the salary arrangement between the federation and its employees to ourselves. Players would soon be notified of the compensation for the Barbados game.”

Bolton, a Chartered Professional Coach in Canada with over 15 years of professional experience, has recently inked a four-year deal with the federation, replacing the United States of America-based Mark Rodrigues who held the position previously.

The Canadian native previously was installed in the post during the period of 2000-2001 under the Klass administration. Rodrigues, who was appointed under the disbanded Christopher Matthias administration, had reportedly volunteered his services to the federation.
