Three injured in incident at Beehive

Three persons were injured early last night after the driver of the car they were travelling in, lost control at Bee Hive, East Coast Demerara (ECD).

According to reports reaching this newspaper, the three men, Ryan, Rakesh and Romel (only names given) were heading up the East Coast around 7 o’ clock last night when the driver of the motorcar they were travelling in lost control after a bright light reflected to his eyes. As a result, they landed in a nearby trench.

The men were rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) Accident and Emergency Unit (A&EU) where they were attended to and treated for minor injuries and bruises about their bodies.

Efforts to speak to their relatives prove futile.

When Stabroek News visited the hospital late last night the men were receiving treatment and were expected to be sent away.
