At about 0700h yesterday, the police say it was discovered that the Machuine Primary School at Lethem, had been broken into and the sum of $408,000 stolen.
The police responded to the report and following investigations conducted, arrested two men and recovered $378,000 of the stolen cash.
The two men are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
