Everest Cricket Club under-13 team completed a four-wicket victory over the visiting United States of America Cricket Academy (USACA) under-13, yesterday at the Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) ground.
The visitors batted first and were restricted to 144-6 in 40 overs with Tyson Saiteja hitting a top score of 52 while Yash Khangura made 18. Sachin Primchand claimed 2-20 for the hosts.
Everest?s reply was spearheaded by Yeudistir Persaud who belted 10 fours and two sixes in 63 to take his team to 145-6 in 38.3 overs. Vatsal Patel was USACA?s leading bowler with 3-20. He received support from Ibadat Haditwa who bagged 2-10.
