A jury was on Thursday empanelled before Justice Navindra Singh at the High Court for the trial of Dellon Glasgow, who is accused of murdering Jules Walker in 2013.
Glasgow pleaded not guilty to the charge which states that between August 10 and 11, 2013 in the county of Demerara, he murdered Walker.
Prosecutors Narissa Leander, and Judith Gildharie-Mursalin are representing the state and will call 10 witnesses to the stand.
Meanwhile, attorney Raymond Ali is representing Glasgow. The trial will commence tomorrow at 9am.
Walker’s body was found at the Princes Street Canal on August 11.
