The Government of Brazil has extended congratulations to President David Granger on his victory at the May 11 general elections and recommitted to continue deepening bilateral initiatives between the two nations.
According to a press release from the Brazilian embassy, international observer missions which included a team sent by the Union of South American Nations among which were two representatives of the electoral supreme tribunal of Brazil, followed the smooth progress of the electoral process.
