At about 2230h. last night, the police say that three men, one of whom was armed with a firearm, entered the business place of Christopher Moonsammy at Punt Trench Dam, East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, and held him up.
They took away an undisclosed sum of cash and escaped. Moonsammy was shot to his right hand during the incident and has been hospitalised.
Investigations are in progress.
