Agri staff for training in India

Two employees in the agriculture sector are to undergo training in India as part of the Govern-ment’s efforts to develop the sector.

GINA said that Cabinet at its meeting on August 11, 2015, approved a Memorandum submitted by the Ministry of Agricu-lture, for Reynard Ward, Extension Officer of the National Agricultural Research Extension Insti-tute (NAREI) and Christine Kissoon, Admin-istrative Officer, Ministry of Agriculture, to attend a training programme in India, on “Planning and Management of Rural Develop-ment”. The training is expected to begin on August 17, 2015 and conclude on September 13, 2015.

The training, GINA said, will provide guidance for the improvement of planning and management of programmes.
