Cops seeking brothers over fatal Albouystown bar shooting

Police are now searching for two siblings for questioning about the murder of Senassie Lewis, 22, who was gunned down in Albouystown early Friday morning.

Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum confirmed that the police are currently pursuing the two siblings, who are suspects in the attack that left Lewis dead and three other persons injured.

He said the two brothers are known to the police for committing serious offences.

Around 3am on Friday, Lewis, of Pineapple Street, East La Penitence, was at a dance at the Ghetto Flex Bar in Albouystown when two men walked up to him and fired a barrage of bullets at him, hitting him multiple times and injuring Kurt Francis, Jamal Bascom, and Jonathan De Freitas.

Residents stated that there is currently a gang war going on in the area. Lewis was said to be part of one of the gangs and was known for being involved in criminal acts.

Police confirmed on Friday that according to evidence that they have gathered the attack was gang-related.
