Two men have been arrested after they were found with a large quantity of ammunition at Blackwater, Cuyuni.
According to a police statement, the discovery was made at about 5pm on Thursday, when ranks conducted a search on the two men.
Police said 14 12-gauge shotgun cartridges, 76 .38 rounds, 100 9mm rounds and 150 .32 rounds were found during the search.
