Share a coke campaign comes to Guyana

Coca Cola is bringing its iconic ‘Share a coke’ campaign to Guyana.

According to a press release, the campaign that was first launched in Australia and has since rolled out in more than 50 countries worldwide which invited fans to find their names and names of family members, friends, and even co-workers on a coke bottle will be brought to Guyana. The campaign aims at bringing a modern, youthful twist to the brand’s 128-year-old legacy of bringing people together and making them feel special.

“This year, we have changed our name for the most common names in Guyana so that people can share a Coke with friends, family, or someone special. Though this proposal we want to invite everyone to rediscover the meaning of connecting and sharing,” Jennifer Khan, Coco-Cola Brand Manager said.

Coca-Cola, which is bottled in Guyana and licensed under Banks DIH limited, will roll out its new packaging nationwide and will be brought to life online, outdoors, on TV, radio, and fans can also visit facebook.com/coca-cola to personalize virtual bottles and share them with friends.
