A man was yesterday arrested and is currently in police custody for questioning in connection with two separate murders in the interior.
According to a police press release, acting on information received yesterday, police ranks arrested a man at Mawsie Backdam, Mahdia. The man who was wanted for questioning in the investigations of two murders that occurred at Konawaruk, Region 8 and Mawsie Backdam, Region 7.
The police also said, that during the arrest an unlicensed .38 revolver with six rounds were found in his possession.
