City Council worker remanded on gun, ammo charges

A City Council worker was yesterday remanded to prison on gun and ammunition possession charges after making an appearance before a city court.

Nathalon Martin, 21, was accused of having unlawful possession of a .32 pistol and six live matching rounds of ammunition in the vicinity of East La Penitence on October 17th. No other details were provided concerning the charge.

Martin, who was unrepresented at the time, pleaded not guilty to the charges read.

Martin was remanded to prison by Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan until November 4th.
