Jamaica Scorpions drop Baugh and King for third round clash against Red Force

KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC- The Jamaica Scorpions have made two changes to their 13-man squad to play Trinidad and Tobago Red Force in the third round of the WICB Professional Cricket League which starts on Friday.

Baugh had scores of 29 and 27 against Barbados Pride and eight and four against Windward Islands Volcanoes.

Veteran wicketkeeper Carlton Baugh and promising middle-order batsman Brandon King have been omitted from the squad that rebounded to 30 run win over Windward Islands Volcanoes on Sunday.

They have been replaced by wicketkeeper Devon Thomas and former Jamaica captain Tamar Lambert.

Baugh and King appear to have been dropped as a result of low scores in the first two round of matches in the PCL

Baugh had scores of 29 and 27 in the first-round loss away to Barbados Pride and eight and four against Windward Islands Volcanoes in Round Two action at Sabina Park.

King posted scores of 10 and 30 against the Pride, and followed with 17 and four versus the Volcanoes.
