Dear Editor,
GPL continues to be in the news. I believe that the affairs of the corporation will be enhanced by the early appointment of a new Board of Directors.
I wish to suggest to the Minister of Public Infrastructure and the cabinet the following skills set for the new Board of Directors:
(a) Two engineers, one of whom should be electrical and the other possibly civil
(b) An experienced attorney-at-law
(c) An experienced chartered accountant
(d) An IT specialist
(e) A human resources/industrial relations practitioner
(f) One or two experienced business persons
