Dear Editor,
Much has been said on social media about Guyana Defence Force soldier, Sergeant Robert Pyle, his wife Stacy Pyle and canter driver Linden Eastman all of whom died on Carifesta Avenue following a horrific collision.
Robert Pyle was reported to have been on loan on special assignment with the Special Organized Crime Unit.
This explains his presence at the scene. It does not explain why his wife was in the vehicle with him. What was her involvement? Is this a new operating procedure in the Guyana intelligence services?
Clearly her presence in the operation needs to be explained.
