Rubis Guyana Inc. launched a new newspaper promotion from March 1, 2016.
A release from the company said that for the entire month of March including Saturdays and Sundays the first 50 customers to purchase $2000 in fuel or TOTAL lubricants will get a free copy of Stabroek News.
“Experience has thought us that the value of a newspaper is more than its face value. The information one gets from reading can make a life time impact. The existence of the newspaper industry globally is more than 300 years and notwithstanding the birth of other contemporary forms of dissemination, we believe this form of communication will tarry. We find it a unique way to give back to our customers. Thousands of customers will directly enjoy this freebie whilst thousands more will benefit as readers will likely share the papers with friends at work or their customers (in the case of taxi drivers) or their families when the papers are taken home”, the company said.
Rubis said that customers welcomed the gesture the first time it was done.
The distribution commences from 07:00 HRS and is applicable at all branded Rubis Service Stations
