North West man refused bail on attempted murder, wounding charges

A North West District man was yesterday remanded after being charged in a city court with attempted murder.

Seon Obermuller appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan, where he was charged with unlawfully and maliciously wounding Kenrick Obermuller with the intent to commit murder. It was also alleged that he unlawfully and maliciously wounded Lyndon Hall. The 25-year-old defendant was not required to plead to the two charges, which are based on incidents that occurred on March 19 at Eclipse Top, North West District.

Chief Magistrate McLennan remanded the defendant and adjourned the matters to May 3, when they are to be called at     the Matthews Ridge Magistrate’s Court.
