A front page headline in Sunday’s Kaieteur News (March 27) announces ‘Weeks after housing land deal inked…BK sells 100 acres to BaiShanLin for US$80M – now suing Chinese logger for outstanding US$4M.’ On the following day, Kaieteur News (March 28), we read the front page headline ‘Brian Tiwarie (BK) appointed Business Advisor to Govt.’
According to the KN report, “The appointment was made on January 19th by Minister of State Joseph Harmon.” It says “Tiwarie is appointed the Ministerial Advisor on Business Development.”
I wonder, does anyone see the irony in all of this? Does our government feel it needs a public explanation?
