US Ambassador Perry Holloway hosted a reception at his residence last evening honouring the achievements of women in politics in Guyana and throughout the world. A release from the US Embassy said that the reception brought together newly elected female councillors along with female Members of Parliament, other elected officials, NGOs working on women’s issues, and prominent members of the private and public sector.
