Farouk & B.A. Amin & Sons Ltd is a registered limited liability company engaged in the marine transportation of fuel for all the oil companies in Guyana for over 40 years.
We refer to the response of Mr. Badree Persaud `These are my answers to the allegations in the Guyoil audit report’ (SN March 31, 2016), which is in our opinion, a poor response at trying to redeem himself from the numerous findings of the audit at that entity recently.
Further his reference to “…Contamination of fuel by the vessels of Amin and Rambarran” is in our opinion a reference to our company. This is a blatant lie and we challenge Mr. Persaud to show proof of this. We were never accused of the contamination of fuel while transporting same for Guyoil and others. We wish to categorically deny this accusation and see it as an effort to redeem himself. We wish to advise that our vessels were sometimes used when the vessels of Mr. Dhanrajh were unavailable. Please note that our services provided with our fleet of vessels to all our customers, oil companies and others, have always been prompt reliable and honest we will be grateful for your publication of this letter to clarify this gross inaccuracy contained in Mr. Badree’s response, as regards to services of our company.
