Yannick Shultz, the school boy who was struck down on Saturday afternoon, remains in the Intensive Care Unit at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH).
Shultz, a student of the Fort Wellington Secondary School, was reportedly cycling along the Number Three Public Road, West Coast Berbice, when a car struck him.
He was then rushed to the Fort Wellington Hospital and transferred to the New Amsterdam Hospital, before being transferred to the GPH.
