The security guard who was involved in an accident at Houston on Saturday morning is currently in a stable condition and recovering at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC).
Gerald Frederick, an employee of Kalibur Security, of Mandela Avenue, was riding a motorcycle along the East Bank Highway when he collided with a Route 31 bus head-on. He was subsequently rushed to GPHC where he had to undergo emergency surgery.
Stabroek News was told yesterday that Frederick had successful surgery and was stable and in the Recovery Room at the hospital.
Investigations into the accident are still ongoing.
