The police say that investigations are being conducted into a fatal accident which occurred at about 22:20h last night on the Ann’s Grove Public Road, ECD, that resulted in the death of John Forde, 27yrs, of 17 Supply, Mahaica, ECD.
Enquiries disclosed that Forde who was the driver and the lone occupant of motor car PLL 7886, was proceeding east when he lost control and ended up into a southern canal. He was rescued by public-spirited citizens and rushed to the GPHC where a doctor pronounced him dead on arrival.
The police say that investigations are also being conducted into another fatal accident which occurred about 03:30h., this morning, on Belle View Public Road, WBD that resulted in the death of Dominic Fabian King, 27 yrs., of 33 Vive-La-Force, WBD.
Enquiries revealed that King was riding motor cycle CH 1556 in a southern direction when he lost control and collided with a utility pole. He was rushed to the West Demerara Regional Hospital by public-spirited citizens where a doctor pronounced him dead on arrival.
