Angoy’s Avenue chopping spree leaves three men hospitalised

Berbice police are on the hunt for three men after a chopping spree which took place around 17:30 hrs yesterday in Angoy’s Avenue left Aston Simon, 41, of Mi Mi Dam; Jason Wilson, 30 and Carlos Mathews, 26  hospitalised.

According to information gathered, police had raided a house at Mi Mi dam last Thursday and subsequently  members of the home started to threaten Simon.

After the threats, Simon relocated from the area. However yesterday,y Simon, along with Wilson and Mathews, visited Angoy’s Avenue to remove what was left of his belongings.

According to a police source, it was then that the trio were attacked and chopped about the body multiple times. During the chopping spree, Simon had his hand severed at the wrist.

The injuries the other two men sustained are not known.
