A man was yesterday remanded to prison by a city court after it was alleged that he assaulted an 11-year-old.
It was alleged that Carl Braithwaite, 33, on September 15, at Robb Street and Avenue of the Republic, unlawfully assaulted the child, so as to cause actual bodily harm. He denied the allegation.
Braithwaite has been remanded to prison until October 10, when he will once again appear before Magistrate Fabayo Azore.
