The police have issued a wanted bulletin for Damion Hopkinson for questioning in connection with the murder of Anita Mohan which occurred on September 4, at Fifth Street, Cummings Lodge, East Coast Demerara.
The last known address of Hopkinson, 27, the second suspect in the murder, is listed as Lot 55 Industry, East Coast Demerara.
Mohan called `Sandra’, 48, a vendor of 315 South East Cummings Lodge, Greater Georgetown was found lying on her kitchen floor with stab wounds.
The woman was discovered by her son Intiaz Khan, 27, who had returned from work shortly after 5 pm.
Police later arraigned her nephew Kevin Mohan and he has been remanded to prison until October 28, when a preliminary inquiry is expected to begin at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court.
