Dear Editor,
Paul Fraser (‘Minibus driver assaulted handicapped man after accident while GDF soldier watched on’, SN, October 28) by his spontaneous courageous and heroic response to defend a stranger ‒ a handicapped man ‒ against an alleged assault by a minibus driver proved that there are still decent and caring people around . The fact that a man in a soldier’s uniform cowardly refused to become involved is a sad reflection on his organization which should charge him for impersonating a soldier.
It would be interesting to see how this matter unfolds.
Yours faithfully,
Sylvia Conway
