Eighteen more customers graduate from Republic Bank training programme

On November 9, 2016 eighteen specially selected commercial customers of Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited graduated from training on business management skills and other areas

A release from Republic Bank said that the programme forms part of the Bank’s annual initiatives targeted towards Small and Medium Enterprises and is done in collaboration with the University of West Indies’ Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.

This initiative which first began in September 2010 helps participants to improve their business management skills in areas such as Financial Management, Marketing and Customer Relation-ship Management, Strategic Management and Leadership and Networking.

This year’s batch brings the total number of participants in Guyana over the years, to one hundred and thirteen entrepreneurs.

Sessions were held over six days at Republic Bank’s Head Office during the period October 5 to November 9, 2016.

The seminar’s facilitators included Dr. Balraj Kistow, Natasha Subero and Kirt St. Bernard of the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business.

The Closing Ceremony was held on November 9, 2016 at the Head Office where the 18 participants received certificates.
