Minister of Natural Resources Raphael Trotman along with Minister of Public Infrastructure David Patterson and Minister within the Ministry of Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs Valerie Garrido-Lowe met with residents for the handing over, GINA said.

Residents of Santa Rosa were promised 15 street lights by  Trotman when a team from his ministry held an outreach with communities in the Region in August.  Trotman told the residents that he had since worked with the Ministry of Public Infrastructure to obtain additional lights, some of which were installed in Kumaka.

The lights were installed and have been serving the community for approximately two weeks. “For me the promise is kept,” Trotman told the residents.

Toshao of Santa Rosa, Sherwin Abrams said he was pleased by the fulfillment of the minister’s commitment, GINA reported
