A six-member military delegation from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA), on Monday evening, paid a courtesy call on President David Granger. Senior Colonel Lu Zhonglin led the team. The other members of the delegation included: Senior Colonel Zhang Yanke, Senior Colonel Zhang Ying, Colonel Zhao Cheng and Lieutenant Colonel Chen Xiao.On Monday morning, the delegation signed a Military Aid Gratis agreement between the Guyana Defence Force and the PLA for the provision of non-lethal military aid.
