The British High Commission yesterday handed over a monetary donation along with a large quantity of kitchen utensils to Help and Shelter to support it in the fight against domestic violence.
At the handing over ceremony at Help and Shelter, located at Homestretch Avenue, British High Commissioner Greg Quinn voiced his passion for the project. According to Quinn, his office has been making such donations for over a year. He stressed that the staff at the British High Commission plays an important role in making such donations possible.
Margaret Kertzious, Coordinator of Help and Shelter, expressed her gratitude for the donation.
