Stag Beer-branded boxes will be set up at various locations where the product is sold/consumed. Consumers can place their Stag Beer crowns in the boxes and when the competition ends in April, the community with the heaviest weighed boxes will be declared winners.

Guyana Football Federation (GFF), president Wayne Forde said it was a privilege to be a part of the venture which boosts the sport and unites communities.

“The state of the grounds is an indictment, it is one thing to want to see quality football being played but it is another thing to help get to that point and we must commend them for their effort and we hope to see more promotions like these a bit more frequent”, said the GFF President.

ANSA McAL’s Public Relations Officer, Darshanie Yussuf explained that the winning community of the competition will also be afforded the opportunity to have a contractor and workers from that area who will be responsible for the project.

The MacKenzie Sports Club ground (MSC) in Linden was the winner during the first promotion back in 2011.
