Selectors of the Berbice Volleyball Association (BVA) recently Named 26 players to participate in trials ahead of the Inter-Guiana Games (IGG) games scheduled to be held in Guyana from October 20-24.
The trials, which will be conducted by the Guyana Volleyball Federation (GVF) will see 15 males and 11 females vying for spots on the national teams for the competition.
Two of the top Berbice teams in Port Mourant Training Center (PMTC) and 3 Doors Strikers will represent the BVA in the Inter- Association Championships which will be used to select the top two teams from Guyana who will participate in the GVF/Tradewinds Tanker International Club Tournament scheduled for November 2016 in Guyana.
The male players named are:- Samuel Fraser, Lezon Khan, Vickram Nandram, Marcellious Hector, Jermain Munroe, Klondyke Rodney, Ravi Rampertab, Kellon Bruce Leitch, Andy Rohoman, Paul Welcome, Joel Junior Cort, Joel Hughes, Renaldo Bobb, Samuel Seecharran and Damion Al Ahmad.
The female players are :-Candacy Mentore, Stephani Lewis, Amesha Mohabir, Shameza Penuex, Telisha Williams, Ala Mohabir, Jessica Adrian, Sheliza Edwards, Krystal Paddy, Philana Simpson and Darshanie Pooran.
