Dear Editor,
The Guyanese people have responded magnificently to the foul parking meter project. Without any guidance from the comatose private sector community, with no support from an abject and apathetic central government, the public have reacted in the only logical and moral way possible, which is to reject in totality this abominable exercise in greed.
And now, they must continue to hold out until the eventual demise of this shameful scheme. And they must march and protest until these arrogant people in City Hall are rejected and ejected from public office and forced to hang their heads in collective shame.
